What is the treatment of villous adenoma ?
Tubulovillous adenoma is a subtype of villous adenoma which is a benign codition. However, it carries a risk to become malignant, so the follow up is very important for you. Adenoma usually trated by endoscopic excesion and the excised part will send to get examined histopathologically to exclude malignancy
Is it serious to have one adenoma of 1.5 cm ?
It will be serious if the is no restrict follow up. Otherwise, it's manageable. Be reassured
When should you have the next colonoscopy ?
Regarding you had an adenoma of 1.5 cm, you should have you next colonoscopy within the next 3 years
Biosy result interpretations ?
The result said that you had a tubulovillous adenoma of 1.5 cm with chrnoic inflammation of the stomch and epithelial changes in the intestine. Furthermore, the report said the adenoma is negative for malignancy
