I did an ovarian drilling surgery via laparoscopy...
I did an ovarian drilling surgery via laparoscopy for pcos and doctors found i have endometriosis stage 2 so they administered zoladex 3.6mg on February 29th. My period came on May 2nd and never returned again. Doctors told me that the bleeding on may 2nd isn't menstruation eventhough it stayed for 5 days. I was advised to do a test for LH and FSH. Results are 1.42 and 2.85. Does this indicate ovarian failure? Please help am trying to conceive. Im 27 years old and have a bmi of 20.

Premature ovarian failure syndrome
Ovaries are the the oragans responsable for ovulation throughout the female fertility life span, at menapause ovaries got depleted from ova and ovulation stop. In some cases premature ovarian failure at 25-30 years ensued and this disease is not curable, its diagnosed primarly by measuring FSH level which will be greater than 40. FSH LEVEL of 2.85 is considerd normal with functioning ovaries. a trial of ovulation induction should be considerd in addition to Assisted reproductive techniques after consultation to your treating gynecologist.
Required Investigations
After proper physical examtination, CBC should be done to detect anemia, measurement of Estrogen level and progestron. Ultrasound examination of the ovaries, fluroscopic imaging of uterus and fallopian tubes to detect any abnormailities. Examination of endometriosis could be done through Pelvic MRI.

You are adviced to have well balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals , avoid smoking and have regular exercise.

Your laboratory results don't show ovarian failure your hormone is within normal limit

Well it is still on ultrasound show signs for pcos
Then it's pcos but with hormonal regularity
It need follow up and metformin Yasmin drugs is advised
