Dear customer
Your consult is not clear enough, could you please reorganise it in order to give you a good answer. You mentioned you had a surgery 2 years ago and you are still taking medications
What are those medications and for what are you taking them ?
What might be the cause of your clinical picture ?
It might be due to gastroesophageal reflux disease GERD
How to treat GERD ?
Firstly, you should see the gastroenterologist to examine you and confirm the diagosis. Secondly, it's advised to avoid sleeping after eating and waiting at keast for 3 hours, reduce the intake of spicy food, drink plenty of fluid daily in an average of 3 litres, and use a double pilow when you sleep to elevate the head by 20 cm height. Thirdly, you can use some medications such as omeprazole 20mg once daily and famotidine 20mg twice daily. If the treatment failed, you would need a surgery
Diagnosis ?
Physical examination by gastroenterologist . CBC. Urea breath test and stool analysis to exclude H.pylori. An endoscopy for the esophagus and stomach
Other causes ?
H. pylori infection
Stomach ulcer
Irritable bowel sydrome
Others
Advice?
Visit the gastroentrologist for further assessment and management
