Hi I am an Australian in the UAE and was on a tourist visa and until the government changed their previous advice was allowed to stay in the uae until 31 dec 2020. Now I think I have until 10 August to get a new visa. Can I go to Hatta boarder to exit and come into Dubai on a new visa?

It should be noted that an application for obtaining a tourist visa can be submitted without the need to exit, especially if the previous residence extension has ended, it is not possible to return to the country with the exit except after six months have passed from the date of the end of the visit or tourism visa
