Dh25 per day for first Six months

Dh50 per day fine for second Six months

Dh100 per day fine after One year

Fine will be calculated after 30 days of grace period

The fines have to be paid as service fees at the immigration offices or at the airport when exiting

A 3-month exemption period for visa and residence violators before March 1

Violators of the Law on Entry and Residence of Foreigners whose visas expired before March 1 must leave the country within three months from May 18, 2020. Departure is a condition for exemption from all fines incurred by the beneficiary, whether related to the expiration of the visa, identity card, or expired work permits. The waiver applies until August 28, 2020 and no waiver after that date.
