My daughter had a Tracheo oesophegal fistula (TOF)...
My daughter had a Tracheo oesophegal fistula (TOF) at birth and was corrected with an operation. She needed venitilator support as she is one of the twin who were born preterm (32 weeks). She has a hoarse voice and not able to sound clear and loud. She has on and off cough and phlegm formation as well. She is getting concerned and conscious about her voice as she is 14 years old now.

What is the treatment for hoarsness of voice?
Drink warm drinks like chamomile, flowers, anise and sage, and stop stimulants, soft drinks, spices, pickles, smoking and hookahs.
Lack of stress by screaming and taking decort 0.5 mg tablets every hour for 3 days and then a pill twice daily for 3 days and then a pill daily for 3 days, taking pseudoephedrine pills twice daily in the absence of pressure, pregnancy or lactation and at the end taking an antibiotic such as augmentin 500mg Once every 8 hours for 5 days
surgical manipulation can be done

Temporary allergies
Respiratory infections
Sore throat
Laryngeal tumors
Throat exposure to radiation in high doses
