It is permissible for all sectors, activities and services that have ceased to operate due to the precautionary measures to combat the spread of the Corona virus and that employers and workers agree that workers take unpaid leave or annual leave, reduce work hours or agree to reduce wages temporarily, as follows
- Employers may terminate employment contracts, and they must be carried out in full compliance with the provisions of the Labor and Contract Law, including the period of notification and payment of all outstanding benefits, including the return ticket.
- During this period and even in cases where workers ’contracts are terminated, employers remain responsible for providing free food and housing for workers, or equivalent cash allowances, until the worker’s procedures for repatriation are secured at the employer's expense.
Also, if the employer violates this, you can check with the Ministry of Labor to file a complaint with the Ministry of Labor or by calling 40280660
But if there is a legal problem between the worker and the employer, there is no legal text that allows the worker to remain in the housing provided by the employer after the termination of the work contract
