I was newly hired from the company last March and the Job Offer I have my print thumbmark for pre approval work permit but due to COVID it takes too long to process from the immigration my emirates identity renewal since I believe for a change of status only. Later I received a Termination Letter from the employer informing me they would pay a total of 3 months base pay which we agreed on the contract. My question is am I entitled for the air fare ticket from the Termination of Contract even I am not yet started from work? At the same time I have spent a lot of days overstaying here in Dubai only for the processing of settlement agreement of the 3 months base pay until now from April 17 expiry of my cancelled visa from my last employer

When the service of the worker terminates, the employer should return the worker at his expense to the country the worker came from, or any other place as has been agreed upon by both parties. If the worker is not a Qatari citizen, should return during a period four weeks of the termination of the contract. provided that if the worker who has the right to return to the country he came from or any other place as has been agreed upon by both parties, and was employed by another employer, the later bear the responsibility of the first employer I this regards.

One more thing, is it still possible for me to file a complaint since I have already received the final settlement that represents a full and final paymentof my dues or claims against the company? I signed it last April 15, 2020. The only reason I signed it is because they said on the Termination Letter through email that they will pay an amount equivalent to a 3 months base pay in the contract which is the exact amount I encash from the bank. Sooner or later i just realized they should be the one doing the right thing prior to my rights since they terminated the contract and the labor law states that employer should arrange my airfare ticket.
