Hi good evening,
This is Lil Bahadur Tamang all the way from Nepal. I have been working in UAE since 2009 May. Last march 2020 I have resigned from my job and visa is canceled on 26 May. Unfortunately I could not exit the country on time due to covid lockdown. Finally I have got a flight ticket to Nepal this coning 11th July. Now, I would like to know if there is any overstay fine to pay or not. And how can I have covid 19 checked since I do not hold any Emirated ID nor insurance card from the employer.

We would like to inform you that if you are inquiring about staying in UAE after cancelling your visa, then the person whose visa is canceled must leave the Emirates within a maximum of 30 days. After that, a fine will be imposed for each day that he has violated.

Thanks for the reply........Some other sites have articles saying that if anyone wants to avoid fines they must pay a visit to the deportation centre near terminal 2 at least 48 hours before departure. In my case I will be flying from Abu Dhabi, so what will be the process?
