We would like to inform you that if you are subjected to an assault attempt by the employer, you can file a complaint with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation against the employer to request the termination of the work contract.
If you work according to a tourist visa, you do not have the right to file a labor complaint, as it is not permissible for a foreign person to question the purpose of the visa, but the police station can be reviewed in order to open a complaint against the sponsor if he threatens you with death.
According to the UAE Labor Law, states:
Article (121)
The worker may leave work without warning in one of the following cases:
- If the employer violates his obligations before the worker in the articles stipulated in the contract or law.
- If the employer or his representative legally assaults the worker.
