We would like to inform you that according to the Qatari Domestic Law, for termination and end of services benefits:
Article (14)
For every calendar year of service, the user shall be entitled to a three-week paid annual leave, and may split it and choose the date and place of its dismissal, unless otherwise agreed without prejudice to the user's interest.
As long as he or she has spent two years in the service, the user is entitled to an air ticket to his or her country of origin or return to spend all his or her leave, unless travel is final, and only a return ticket is payable to his / her country of origin or place of residence.
Article (15)
The employer shall, in addition to any amounts due to the user at the end of his service, provide a termination indemnity benefit to the employee who has spent more than one year or more from the date of this law. For each year of service, and the user is entitled to the bonus for fractions of the year by the amount of time spent in service.
The employer shall be entitled to deduct from the remuneration the amounts to which the user is liable
Article 16
The employer may dismiss the employee without warning and without granting him end of service benefits for the year in which he was dismissed, if he breaches his obligations under the provisions of this law or employment contract.
Article 17
- If an employer has not met his/her obligations specified in the provisions of this law or in the labour contract.
- If an employer, or a person mandated by him/her, has cheated at the time of concluding a contract with a worker, with respect to the terms of employment.
- If an employer or a member of his/her family aggresses a worker, which harms the worker physically or his/her life.
- In the event of a serious danger which threatens a worker’s safety or health, provided that an employer was cognizant of the danger, and had not sought to remove it.
