According to the Federal Authority for Identity and Nationality in the UAE, the identity card holder must notify the competent authority of the Authority of any change in the data contained in the identity card within one month from the date of the change.
In order to make any amendments or updates to the valid ID card, the person concerned shall go to one of the Customer Service Centers of the Authority, along with his original passport and identity card and request the necessary modification thereof.
