?How to treat heavy menstraution
It's really important to treat heavy periods as fast as possible because it may lead to anemia as in you case , so the treatment should be under observation by doctor , he may starts the treatment by NSAID drugs such as ibuprofen or Tranexamic acid may be used and it's effective if used at time of bleeding , Oral contraceptive are also highly recommended espcially in case of thick endometrium , if there was an underlying cause , such as hyperthyroidism , must be treated by Carbmazol drug , some times surgical intervetion must be done to remove fibroids if present
What tests should be done :
some tests can be done after clinical evaluation to determine the cause such as ultrasound for the uterus to measure the thickness of endometrium , and TSH T4 tests to detect if there is hyperthyroidism , ultrasound will show fibroids if present
What are the causes of heavy periods ?
Obesity
Fibroids
Hyperthyroidism
Thick endometrium
Advice :
your condition must be treated soon by gyncologist after doing the previously mentioned tests
