Hi,I was living in villa,the owner is everyday harrasing me because we don't pay the rent full,we pay rent half of this month,he cut our power n lights ,he want us to move out without notice,we pay half of the month but he want to us pay full,

Yes two weeks ago we call police,same issue ,they told us it's not police issue it's baladiya issue,but we didn't complain or go to baladiya office ,then they accept our half month of rent ,now again he's asking the half again ,we beg on him before ending of this month we will pay half ,but he don't agree ,he cut our light and water ,

We would like to inform you that if the owner cuts the electricity, then initially, it should be noted that the rental value must be paid in full to the manner stipulated in the lease contract. Also, the owner has no right to shout at the door and enter the house without permission, and the owner also has no right to cut off the electricity.

You can check with the police station again to file a complaint against the owner for the following reasons:

  • Entering the house is an illegal act.
  • Cutting off electricity is an illegal act.
  • Shouting at the door, threatening, or insulting is also an illegal act

All of these actions are the police specialization not of the municipality.

We don't have contract on them because this is villa,they are not giving contract ,we pay half of the month already ,we r giving him cheq for the payment of June 15 till June 30,he don't want to accept and he's harrasing us to move out the room ,they cut our power and water and ac,we will move out June ending already but he's harrasing us to move now ,since we are trying to pay today till ending which is 10 days more ,
