I am in Qatar. My employment contract was terminated. I was given a termination letter to. provide to the agency I am leasing my apartment from. I was told that the termination letter was all that was need to terminate the lease early and no additional fees would be required. The leasing company refuses to return my checks and have demanded a copy of my RP cancelation and one month rental fee as penalty for the early termination of leasing contract.
