We would like to inform you that non-Muslims can be married in the church (if they are Christians) or in their embassy or consulate in UAE or their residence. If a Christian marriage is completed in the church, a marriage certificate must be obtained from the Courts Department. It is also advised that the marriage be registered at the respective consulates. Regardless of where the marriage ceremony takes place, whether in court, church or otherwise, married couples are required to register the marriage in the court and embassy of their respective countries.
