lung opacification when seen in chest x-ray means that things other than air is filled within the alveoli , these things could be fluid , pus , blood or cancer cells . the shap and site of opacification gives us a hint to what is inside the alveoli like , when when we have interstitial lung disease we can see fine or coarse reticular opacities or small nodules what we can see in your x-ray that you have a well defined opacification which makes us go in the way of space  occupying lesion like tumer , mass or abscess which make us need to do further investigations

we make diagnosis by histiory , physical examination and labs ,so we recommend you to do CBC to see the number of WBCs and ensure if we have bacterial infection , we recommend you also to do CRP ,ESR to  define the inflammatory  process in your body we need aslo to do CT chest scan to make definite diagnosis
