Symptomes and management of gastric upset 
Gastric upset is a common symptome for elevated gastric acids illnesses including gastric ulcers and gastric esophageal acid reflux diseases. Regurge of food contents is associated with cases of tight lower esophageal sphincter or esophageal motility diseases that affect esophageal movement of food particles and prevent the food from getting inside the stomach. Series of diagnostic studies should be performed to diagnose the underlying cause and consultation of Gastroentrologist. Esomprazol 40 mg tab once daily will decrease gastric acid and releive symptomes.
Investigatoins 
After proper physical exam, you should do cbc to detect anemia, check stool analysis to detect H pylori antigen, do Gastroscope to detect regurge and gastric hernias. Measurment of lower esophageal sphincter tone is done through the gastroscope in addition to Barium meal imaging.
