1. usually the doctor will recommand some steps to deal with it such as putting local medications and change it cover every other day 
2. follow doctor instruction and consult him/her if any symptoms appeared 
3. make sure your baby private area have well air entry 
4. bleeding shouldnt last longer than 1-2 days
