I have a 1bhk apartment in dubai. One yr back my bathtub broke and i informed the agent on whatsapp and call whsoe working on behalf of my landlord. He didnt respond to my concerns. Since then i have been constantly begging the agent to fix the job. But alas all in vain. Now the bath tub has completely broke down causing the apartment to go damp. Its inhospitable environment. The whole apartment has fungus on walls because of dampness. My landlord is still not concerned. Can i terminate the tenancy contracts without paying penalty? I want to vacate the apartment as i have 1 yr toddler and he tends to lick and play on the walls that are damp.
