I am currently in an unlimited contract with a private school in Dubai. I applied for a teaching position in the ministry of education and was successfully hired. My problem is that in my contract with my current company, I need to provide three-month notice during resignation.

We would like to inform you that if your  work contract is limited and you wants to terminate it, then you shall pay compensation to the employer equal to the wage of half month for every remained month in then contract, unless she left the work for one of the below reasons:

1-    If the employer violates his obligations before the worker in the articles stipulated in the contract or the law.
2-    If the employer or his legal representative signs an assault on the worker.

As the Labor Law states:

Article (116)

If the contract is terminated by the worker for reasons other than those stipulated in Article (121), the worker is obliged to compensate the employer for what is stipulated in article (121) Shall be entitled to loss as a result of the dissolution of the contract, Exceed the amount of compensation paid half a month for a period of three months or the remaining term of the contract whichever is shorter, and all that unless there is a provision in the contract providing otherwise

Article 121:

A worker may leave work without notice in one of the following cases:
1-    If the employer violates his obligations before the worker in the articles stipulated in the contract or the law.
2-    If the employer or his legal representative signs an assault on the worker.
