Hlo doctor ....I am harshitha 22 years old......I took approx 20 paracetamol within 20 minutes and it's been approximately 65hours ago and after taking tablet I stated vomiting after 3 hours and after that I continuously vomited till next 18 hours then I went to doctor I didn't tell the truth ......as I was scared of my parents ......and then they assumed it as food poisoning and infuse glucose and vomit stoping injections .....and there after I am feeling better .......but ..... yesterday night I felt little stomach ache and uneasiness ......sooo I am scared .....should I consult doctor again and .... But is it too late to take antidose .....or is this okay ....I will get well ....

this happened on Saturday evening ....is it tooo late ?.....now I am not feeling gud .......after reading few quora answer I got scared ....is it dangerous for my liver?

Treatment of paracetamol overdose
you should consult the ER doctor and tell him the trouth , at thr first when the paracetamol still in your stomach they can do gastic lavage and give activated charchool but you are too late , the treatment would be by using acetylcesteine to prevent hepatotoxicity , and in some cases they doing liver transolantation
Diagnosis
by taking full medical history and doing clinical examination and mesure liver enzyme ALT , AST ,and electrolytes , and kidney function test
Symptoms
- nausea and vomiting
- pallor
- diaphoresis
- abdomial pain (RUQ
- metabolic acidosis
- renal failur
