I am working as lab manager and given my resign...
I am working as lab manager and given my resignation in March this year and as per my contract I have to serve a notice period of three months after acceptance of my resignation which I did so. And my last working day is 31 May and I have to join my new company in June but my previous employer is holding my resignation stating that as per federal law in UAE during the national emergency and war like situation they have the right to extend my resignation period. Is this justified as I am scared to loose both the jobs what should I do can you pls advice.
