Hello, I am Mohammed Haneef I have a question revarding my visa cancellation I cancelled my visa on April 28th 2020, upon new Employment offer, however visa cancellation took one month as the Amer services were closed, however when finally it was cancelled and I submitted the cancellation paper to new Employer to apply for the new visa. However they replied that they stopped hiring new staff as the Project they hired me is under hold. Also I put my family visas on hold in the immigration by paying security fees. Please advise how I can deal with the situation and whether extended grace period is applicable in my case.

Now, several local and international decisions were issued to close down the airports and borders. In this case, departure is not possible until after the opening of the airports and borders. The police have nothing to do with this matter, and therefore you can contact the embassy of your country to take the necessary action as for fines for overstaying of residence, in light of recent government decisions, no fines will be imposed on residents as a result of the exceptional circumstances.
