Treatment :

mouth infection is a general term used to describe any inflammation occurs inside the mouth and it can be due to many reasons such as Bacterial, viral or fungal infections and to manage it the doctor should assess the case and run some tests to know the exact diagnosis, and there are some tips you can follow to reduce the infection such as gargling with warm water and salt twice a day, use Metronidazole 500mg 3 times a day along with Clindamycin 300mg three times a day for 5 days for bacterial infection, and for the fungal infection you can use Nystatin oral suspension 4times a day for 2 weeks, and for a viral infection you can use Acyclovir cream.

diagnosis is done based on the medical history, physical examination and some investigations such as CBC, Laryngoscope and swab culture
