Treatment :
- the symptoms you have mentioned are all referring to an inflamed or infected wound which led to pus discharge and swelling of the tissues and to deal with such cases the wound should be sterilized with normal saline and iodine then A small incision should be made to drain the pus out of the wound then irrigation and washing of the tissues by normal saline should be done and finally sterile dressing must be applied .most cases can be discharged home on oral Antibiotics such as Cefaclor 500mg twice a day for five days and dressing every other day after such procedure, however, there are some cases must be admitted to the hospital to take intravenous Antibiotic and be monitored and assessed by the doctor.
Diagnosis:
- based on symptoms and physical examination and some tests such as CBC, and pus culture
- pain in the wound
- pus discharge
- swelling of the tissues
- redness o0f the tissues
- the hotness of the tissues
- distortion of the skin edges
- fever

- you should consult the doctor to clean your wound and asses the severity of the inflammation.
