hi, i am working on a dissertation and i would like to know if there is any law that governs the award of legal/party's fees in UAE. i understand the court is normally awarding between 300 to AED 3,000 while the actual cost is usually much higher. is there any legislation or by-laws that stipulates the maximum amount to be granted against legal fees?
