How to treat vaginal candidiasis ?
It should be noted that vagianl candidiasis can be eliminated with a short treatment with antifungal medications that are applied directly into the vagina as tablets, creams, ointments or suppositories. Miconazole cream 3 times per day for 5-7 days or a single dose of oral fluconazole can also be used. Sex partners usually do not need to be treated. It's also advisable to keep that area calean and dry and to wear a cotton underwear and if there is itching, you can use beclomethasone cream 3 times per day
How to get diagnosed ?
By history and simple physical examinations. If it's uncertain, sample from the secretions might be taking to be examined under the microscope
