In the event that you have been working with the employer for five years and wish to obtain your dues, the employer must, in addition to any amounts that are due to the user at the end of his service, to pay an end-of-service gratuity to a user who has spent one year or more working at work from the date this law comes into effect and this reward is determined by agreement between the two parties, provided that it is not less than three weeks' wages for each year of service years, and the user deserves the reward for fractions of the year in proportion to the period spent in service.
In accordance with the provisions of the Domestic Workers Law, which reads:
Article (15):
The employer shall, in addition to any amounts due to the user at the end of his service, provide a termination indemnity benefit to the employee who has spent more than one year or more from the date of this law. For each year of service, and the user is entitled to the bonus for fractions of the year by the amount of time spent in service.
