We would like to inform you that according to the Qatari Penal Code, the matter is considered a crime punishable by law, and therefore it is possible to go to the Public Prosecution and file a criminal complaint to the employer, but the matter is conditional on the existence of evidence on the validity of the prosecution, as the law no (23) for the year 2004 Criminal proceedings may not be initiated except on the basis of a complaint by the victim or his representative in the offenses stipulated in the articles: (323), (330), (331), (332), (333), (323), (323), (323) ), 357, 389/1, 393/1, 394 and 395 of the Penal Code, as well as other crimes stipulated by law.
The complaint shall be submitted verbally or in writing from the victim or his or her special agent to the Public Prosecution or to a judicial officer.
In the case of the crime committed, the complaint may be submitted to a person who is present from the public authority.
Article (7) The complaint shall not be accepted after thirty days from the date on which the victim was informed of the crime and its perpetrator, or on the day of notification of the person acting in his place, unless the law provides otherwise. Therefore, you must file a complaint to initiate criminal proceedings in accordance with the procedures set out in the law and show proof of them.
