تم تقييم هذه الإجابة:
I live in Abu Dhabi.i wish to marry a Muslim woman. I understand that I will need to convert to Islam ( I am a Christian) to do this. I am already married to a Christian woman who has never lived in the UAE. I intend to divorce her in due course but this will take many months. Am I able to marry my Muslim lady now ( after my conversion)and take her as my second wife whilst waiting for my divorce to be finalized in my home country?

What is meant by the residency of the spouse is the husband and wife who want to marry her, even if she has a visit visa
In addition to the residence of the wife in the sense of the validity of the UAE civil identity for him, and in terms of procedures and other requirements, it is specific to the second wife and not the first wife
