Hello, I have reserved a hotel booking through my visa card and now need to cancel my booking. The amount has not gone from my account yet as the payment is only 'on hold' till a later date. I made the booking 8 weeks ago and still the amount is not taken. Now I have cancelled my booking, can they still take this money or is there a 30 day limit for them to deduct from my account?

No. I cancelled the booking and both the agent, Booking.com and the hotel said this is a non refundable booking
