Good evening Doc. I just wanted to consult my thumbmark condition it's been more than a month I suffering pain because my employer said no had check up. I feel pain but I think it's normal but days past I didn't fold if accidentally touch or in my sleeping moving I accidentally fold it was pain. My employer give me brufen 600 I take at night and cream rub-a535 antiphlogestine. Then today I am worry because I had skin itchy where we get blood sample I'm my rigth hand.

Treatment of thumbmark and pain
at first you should to know the cause by doing the examination and see the consultant , if the cause due to hematoma the treatment will be by applying warm pads , and using pain killer such s ibuprofen 600mg twice daily or as needed , if ther is an infection use antibiotics such as cifuroxime 500mg twice daily for 5 days , if there is an fracture the treaetment depend on the type of it , if simple , immobalization and pandage apply to the thumb if complicated treated surgically using plate and scrwe

CBC and CRP to diagnose infection , x-ray to exclude fracture , MRI to diagnos it
