Treatment of infected wound

Based on your symptoms as there is puss from your laser surgery site, it is due to infection. Thus you have to keep surgery are clean and dry to avoid sever infction and inflammation. Also you have to avoid itching by hands and thus apply antibiotic cream like FUSCIDINE CREAM three times daily with no need for antibiotic if there is small amount of discharge or puss.

Investigations to do

You can ask for CBC to see the level of WBCs count and take a swab from pus to determine the cause of infection and proper treatment.

Symptoms of wound infection

There are many symptoms like

• Wound pain
• Redness
• Discharge
• Hotness
• Swelling
• Puss and discharge
