- many medications are used to treat asthma , your doctor will address for you a medication for long term and short term treatments 
- in case of serious chest infections , doctor may prescribe more heavy antibiotics such as marcloids and doxycyline 
General advices :
1. stop smoking and avoid alcohol 
2. avoid dusty weather
3. drink plenty of water and vitamin C drinks and honey 
4. dont take porhibited medications such as aspirin and beta-blockers
