Kindly be noted that if you are on an unfixed-term contract and have presented your resignation ten days ago and have felt sick and brought an official medical statement on your sickness and need for rest for four days, in this case no discounts or legal actions are taken, knowing that you are entitled to be paid on your sick-leave days. Also, your employer has to pay you and the notice period will not be extended

UAE Labor Law stipulates in, 

Article 83
1. A worker shall not be entitled to any paid sick leave during the probationary period.
2. A worker who contracts illness after completing three months, following the probationary period, in the continuous service of an employer shall be entitled to a sick leave not exceeding 90 days, successive or otherwise, in respect of each year of service, to be calculated as follows.
• The first 15 days: with full pay.
• The next 30 days: with half pay.
• Any subsequent periods: without pay.
