Treatment of breast mass
Usually fibroadenoma can cause breast tenderness but the most common cause of breast tenderness are breast cysts , which can contain fluids inside, another causes are breast abscesses and infections, rarely breast cancer can cause pain in early stages.
The treatment should focus on the underlying cause, for example breast cysts are usually aspirated, also abscess if its small and not lobulated, in addition we usually recommends antibiotics according to the culture, like cefuroxime 500 twice daily. For pain management; drugs such as paracetamol and trufen can be prescribed. Fibroadnemoa should undergo excision if it’s the source of pain.
Diagnosis
Done by doctors in the office after taking a detailed history and perform a complete physical examination, it's necessary to perform US, and biopsy will be done if needed.
