We would like to inform you that If your inquiry relates to how to resign from work and move from restrurent, the following information:
First: If the employment contract is limited in duration:
You can't resign if the employment contract is limited to the end of the employment contract and if you resign before the end of the employment contract, the employer has the right to impose a ban against you in addition to the obligation to pay compensation not exceeding one month and a half salary and also the worker who is obligated to pay for the airline tickets
Second:
If the employment contract is of unlimited duration:
The employer shall be notified at least thirty days before the termination of employment or as stated in the employment contract. If the termination of the employment contract is unjustified, the worker shall also pay compensation to the employer in addition to bearing the value of the airline tickets
Finally,
If an employment contract is unlawfully terminated by the worker, the employer can request a ban against the worker in addition to paying compensation to the employer as well.
Here is the text of the UAE Labor Law regarding your inquiry:
Article (116)
Where a contract is revoked by the worker for reasons other than those specified in Article (121), he shall be required to compensate the employer for any damage the latter sustains as a result, provided that the amount of compensation shall not exceed half a month wage for three months or for the remaining period of the contract, whichever is shorter, unless otherwise stipulated in the contract.
