I am two weeks now in Bahrain and I want to go back in Kenya but the office wants me to pay 900dollars before I can go is it legal

The matter is considered illegal if it is not stipulated in the employment contract or the recruitment contract
But if there is a provision in the contract that a penal clause exists in the event that the cancellation and return is requested by you that the visa costs are paid then you are obligated to it and according to what is determined by the penal clause
If there is a problem in the employment contract, you will be brought in to his professions and a specific job, and you are obligated by the office to do another job not agreed upon in the contract, you can file a complaint in the labor office and leave work without the office having the right to ask you for any sums of money as compensation for the value of the visa expenses
