I am a Palestinian holding a temporary Jordanian passport . I have a residence permit in Turkey. Can I buy a flat in Istanbul and have it registered in my name by the tabu directorate?

We would like to inform you that the most important thing you need to know is that the Turkish law on property issues allows you to own two residential properties and one property to work (as an office), as a maximum.
As for the procedures, they are very easy, all you have to do is go - accompanied by the seller - to the registration office, so that the seller gives up the property, and to receive from him both the sales contract, the title deed and the property keys, while you will have to pay 4% of the value Real estate as registration fees.
The second step is for you to go to the (Population Department) in the municipality to register the property in your name.
As for the documents required from Jordanians to own a property in Turkey, they are:
-Certificate of property value from the concerned municipality
-Valid passport
-Proof of residence and power of attorney documents (if you are the representative of the original purchaser)
-Two personal photos (6 x 4 cm)
-Compulsory earthquake insurance compass (in case the property is an entire building)
You must file a complaint against the relevant employee if he refuses to register for you
