It should be noted that after reviewing your inquiry and legal scrutiny we would like to inform you that cheques are payable as of the date specified on them as the date of issue. The check cannot be submitted before this date and must be submitted within six months.
As stipulated by the law:
Article 617
1) The check shall be due on the day stated therein as the date for its issuance.
2) The check may not be submitted for payment before that date.
3) If the payment is less than the amount of the check, the pregnant woman must ask the drawee to pay the partial amount that is in his possession and ask him to mark this fulfillment on the back of the check and give him a certificate of that, and prove the right of recourse to the rest of this certificate or the act of protest.
Article 618
1) A check drawn in or out of the State and the due date has emerged must be submitted for payment within six months.
2) The date mentioned in the previous paragraph of the date indicated in the check shall begin on the date of issue.
3) The submission of the check to a bank or the booking of the amount by telephone or by the bank shall be considered by the bank at the withdrawing bank, as well as the submission of the check to one of the clearing houses legally recognized in the provision for payment.
In the event that the intended question is otherwise, you can kindly ask us in detail and we will respond to it in the shortest time frame.
