It's not recommended to use this medication unless there is no alternative
How to treat UTI in pregnancy during the first trimester?
By using antibitics. The safe antibiotics that you can use are
Cephalexin : 250 mg two or four times daily
Amoxicillin-clavulanic acid or Augmentin : 250 mg four times daily
Fosfomycin 3 g single shot is also effective
For how long you should use the antibiotics?
A seven to 10 days course of antibiotic treatment is usually sufficient to eradicate the infecting organism
