Good morning, my name is Chris and i have an issue with transferring from my old company to my new company due to the block the old company had. Please i need a help because CID has approved for me to transfer but immigration said there is still block there

I was arrested and sent to deportation camp on the 20th of February 2020 and then i was given a ticket and i refused and insisted that i was Innocent and all i want is to be allowed to transfer to new company. Through the intervention of God i was released and i paid for the cancellation of the ticket. Please i just want the block lifted for at least 3 hours for my transfer to go through am just treated unjustly. All this problem is not caused by me but my formal company please i need help.

We would like to inform you that according to the Residence Law, if there is a ban on you from the previous company with consent to change the employer by the criminal investigation department, as the one can cancel it is your previous company that imposed it by complaint at them in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, so you must review and settle with it for purposes cancel it.
But if the ban is the result of an escape report submitted by the previous employer, and the report is malicious, you can immediately go to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, explain the matter, and prove the report because it can be removed by the ministry
So it may be one of the best solutions is to review and settle with the previous employer for the purposes of changing the work, so that the deportation is not imposed for you and leave the country

Thank you for your answer sir but i don’t think you understood my complaint. I was not banned neither have ever committed any offense here in Qatar but in this case,my company itself is blocked and is affecting my transferring to another company. I have gotten a new company but due to the block for the old company,i can’t transfer. Please i want the block lifted for at least 2hours so that the transfer will go through please i need help. I was not banned or blocked but my previous company is,thank you.

If the reason for the ban is to ban the former company, which resulted in your ban, then the matter is within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. You can file a complaint and objection for the purposes of inquiring about the status of the company with the knowledge of this entity, and it is the person who removes the ban on you for the purposes of changing the business entity. The matter is only subject to submitting an objection and grievance to the Ministry of Labor
