We would like to inform you that according to the Qatari penal code, during the investigation or in the execution of the judgment and the trial court, the Attorney General is entitled to prevent the accused or the convicted person from leaving the country if the need for investigation, trial or execution is required. This order shall be valid for six months from the date of issue, if it wasn’t renewed for similar period. Departure authorization may be subject to the provision of a guarantee.
The accused can apply for grievance in the court and the court may decide during 15 days to cancel the order or amend it unless it has been issued by the court.
