We would like to inform you that according to the Kuwaiti Personal Status Law, being the law regulating personal status matters and as your father is the guardian , he may prevent you from leaving the home, and therefore he is responsible for you in addition to the prevailing custom in Kuwait, which is considered as the law to maintain the family that the girl or daughter stays in the home of her father, so it is better to settle with your father and remain under his guardian, as he may prevent you from leaving and living outside the family home, or even at any of your grandmothers’ home.
