If your request concerns night shift hours, the following information is provided:
UAE labour law has set the basic working hours at 48 hours per week.
An employer can require the worker to work overtime.
The employer must pay the worker an extra wage for the number of overtime hours.
If the overtime hours were performed at night between nine o'clock in the evening and four o'clock in the morning, the worker is entitled to the overtime determined for normal working hours with an increase of at least 50% of that wage.
