We would like to inform you that for the residents of the UAE, the law gives them a grace period of 30 days after the cancellation of residence officially, to either amend their status and provide new sponsorship for them and their sponsored or to leave the country. No fines apply during this period.
If the grace period expires and the resident exceeds these 30 days, he will be fined as follows:
*125 dirhams for the first day
* 25 dirhams for each day that follows the first day.
*50 dirhams for each day of overstay six months after the grace period
*100 dirhams for each day of overstay one year after the grace period.
