Treatment of kidney stones:

It depends on many factors as type of stones, size of stones, site of stones, symptoms, patient age, general health of the patient, renal function, so treatment may be by conservative management as drinking good amount of water, avoid salts, or by taking uroclear poweder twice daily, or by surgical intervention if there is no response to above management.

Diagnosis of kidney stones:

It depends on the clinical examination by a urologist and investigations as urine analysis to detect blood in urine and infections and renal function tests urea and creatinine, and KUB x-ray, and CT if needed

Symptoms of kidney stones:

• Burning sensation
• Red urine
• Vomitting
• Nausea
• Flank colic pain
• Loss of appetite
