The offence carries a jail sentence and a fine of up to AED 20,000.

If you refuse to settle with you, and after you go to the labor office and refuse to deal with you, then you can resort to the Federal Court and follow the method we will explain to you:

Filing a lawsuit against the work authority whose subject matter is claiming labor rights, as terminating the work is an arbitrary chapter, which requires the employer to pay compensation to the worker in accordance with Article 115 of the Federal Labor Law,

And that the lawsuit also includes a request to return the passport of the worker,

Here the court ruling and if the court does not respond to the lawsuit and the judiciary with rights, it obliges the employer to return the passport,

The fact that the person who has the right to seize the passport is the administrative and governmental authority in the state and not others,
