In my work contract it states that I work 48 hours a week , but I’ve been working about 60 hours a week and do not get paid overtime , is that normal ? Also , my job description is a hostess and nowhere does it mention in my contract that I need to clean the restaurant ( clean menus , windows , tables , etc. ) is that normal ?

If your inquiry is about that you have been forced to work overtime without being paid, so find the following information:
You can file a complaint against the employer if you are working overtime without getting extra pay.
Also, the Qatari Labor Law allows the employer to assign the worker to do additional work, provided that the wage shall not be reduced.
The complaint can submitted at the Ministry of Labor
Article (74)
The workers may be required to work additional hours to the working hours specified in the preceding article provided that the actual working hours per day shall not exceed ten hours unless the work is necessary for the prevention of gross loss or dangerous accident or for the repair or alleviation of the consequences of the said loss or accident. The employer shall pay to the worker for the additional working hours the rate of not less than the basic wage plus not less than 25% thereof. The workers who work between 9pm and 6am shall be paid the basic wage plus not less than 50% thereof with the exception of the shift workers.
